Find where people drop out of a checkout

1. Open Funnels

   Go to Analytics, then Funnels, and create a funnel.

2. Add your steps

   A step can be a page, an event, or an event with a property value. You can add up to 15.

3. Choose how to count

   Count steps in this order or in any order, by session, or by user within a window you set.

4. Read the result

   Each step shows how many reached it. Look for the biggest drop between two steps.

5. Open the people who dropped

   Select Dropped on that step. Recordings opens, filtered to those sessions.

6. Watch a few

   Open a session. The journey beside the player lists each action, and selecting one jumps to it.
